Central Park

Central Park is a Willard City park nestled between Willard Elementary and the town's fire department. According to the city, it has a large bowery with power and picnic tables, a basketball hoop, large grassy areas and mountain views, along with restrooms. The city notes that its park restrooms are closed from November through April. OpenStreetMap also maps a playground and a baseball field inside the park, though the city's own description does not list them.

The Central Park bowery can be rented through Willard City, either with the request form on the city website or by calling 435-734-9881. When checked in September 2026, the city listed two six-hour rental windows (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or 4 to 10 p.m.), with fees and refundable deposits that differ for residents and non-residents, and payment due before the reservation date.

Willard's other rentable park, the Nature Park (Willard Creek Nature Park), is about a third of a mile to the northeast and adds two more boweries, a large playground, trails and a pond where residents can fish. Willard was named in 1859 for Willard Richards, according to the city, and the town claims the oldest continuous Fourth of July celebration in Utah.
