Legacy Nature Preserve

Legacy Nature Preserve protects 2,225 acres of bird habitat on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake, making it an excellent spot for birdwatching and wildlife photography. The walking trails wind through wetlands and ponds that create striking reflections, especially at sunset. Bring binoculars for the best bird viewing, and be prepared for wind and road noise since the preserve sits close to the city. Shade is nonexistent, so plan accordingly for sun exposure.
