Sand Ridge Park

Sand Ridge Park in Layton covers plenty of open ground with a paved walking trail that's popular for daily exercise. The park includes both basketball and tennis courts, a playground, and multiple picnic setups including one large covered pavilion plus smaller individual picnic spots scattered under trees. Restrooms are on-site, and grilling facilities are available if you're planning a cookout. The trees provide some shade over the picnic areas, though the open spaces and courts get full sun.
