City Creek Park

City Creek Park offers a shaded escape right in downtown Salt Lake City, following the natural course of City Creek with tree-lined walking paths and an arched bridge. The paved trail provides direct access to the foothill trail system, making it a convenient starting point for longer runs or hikes into the surrounding mountains, though expect a steep climb once you leave the park. Plenty of mature trees create a cool canopy, and the creek adds natural sound and scenery. The trail is accessible, though there are no restrooms or other amenities on-site.
