Highland Park works well for kids aged four and up, with playground equipment that skews toward the elementary crowd rather than toddlers. The park includes a walking trail, tennis and pickleball courts, and a pavilion with restrooms on site. Shade is somewhat limited around the play areas, so plan accordingly on hot summer days.
