East Riverfront Park

East Riverfront Park is a 26-acre South Jordan city park at 10991 South Riverfront Parkway, with an access point to the Jordan River Trail. Its playground was built as an all-inclusive playground. When the project was announced in 2017, the Deseret News reported that it would include sensory, physical and social activities for children of any ability, along with cozy spaces and motion equipment to support children with autism. Funding came from the city, Salt Lake County, the South Jordan Rotary Club and several foundations.

According to the city, the park also has a large pavilion with restrooms, water and electricity, several smaller pavilions that are not available for reservation, barbecue grills, a basketball court and restrooms. In June 2025, South Jordan's mayor pointed to the park's new pickleball courts. The large pavilion can be reserved online through the city.

The Riverfront fishing ponds are a separate site: South Jordan lists its three fishing ponds, fish cleaning station and restrooms at 11200 South Riverfront Parkway as part of West Riverfront Park, south of East Riverfront Park along the same road. Both sites have access to the Jordan River Trail, which continues along the river in both directions for longer walks and bike rides.
