South Salt Lake Lions Park

South Salt Lake Lions Park offers more playground variety than many neighborhood parks, with a zipline, multiple slides, swings, and interactive puzzle panels that work for ages ranging from toddlers to elementary-age kids. The fenced playground sits under several large trees that provide good shade coverage, and the slides face west so they stay cool in the morning hours. A covered pavilion with picnic tables features a painted mural on the ceiling, and there's a separate dog park on the other end of the property.
