Kelly's Grove Park

Kelly's Grove is the first of Springville City's three canyon parks in Hobble Creek Canyon. It sits just beyond the Hobble Creek Golf Course, about 4 miles up Canyon Road from the 1300 East roundabout in Springville. Rotary Park is on the left fork of Canyon Road right after the road splits, and Jolley's Ranch is about half a mile past Kelly's Grove on the right fork. Hobble Creek runs through the grove.

The park has five reservable pavilions (Steelworkers, Lions, Veterans, Kiwanis and Kelly's Church), two playgrounds and two sports fields, plus horseshoe pits. According to the city, the canyon pavilions have barbecues, electricity and drinking water, and groups can book them for day use or for overnight group camping. When checked in September 2026, Springville's Kelly's Grove page listed the pavilions as available May 1 through September 30, with reservations accepted up to a year in advance online or through the city parks office (801-489-2770).

Across the canyon parks, restrooms, playgrounds, sports fields, volleyball and horseshoes are not part of any reservation and are open to all visitors. Kelly's Grove also has the new Knight Picnic Area, a free, first-come, first-served day-use area that can be used until dark. Pets must be leashed. The Hobble Creek Parkway Trail adds about two miles of walking and biking path in the canyon that continues into Springville.
