Petersen Park

Petersen Park is a quiet public arboretum and historic green space in an Alpine neighborhood. Roughly 50 tree species grow around a natural walking path, open grass, and a covered bridge tied to the property's homestead history. It is better suited to a shaded walk, photography, or a calm family stop than to organized sports or playground use. Current city materials discuss future restoration work, so proposed improvements such as new parking should not be treated as existing amenities.
