Wines Park

Margaret Wines Park, commonly called Wines Park, is a Lehi City park at 55 East 500 North. It fills the block between Center Street and 100 East, from 500 North to 600 North, and the Lehi Historical Society calls it Lehi's oldest existing park. After Margaret Wines died in 1908, her husband, Ira D. Wines, donated the block to the city for a park, and Lehi officials under Mayor W. F. Gurney formally re-accepted the gift in 1914. The new park was planted with more than 200 trees.

Today the park has four covered pavilions that the city rents out. The northwest pavilion has 14 tables and two large barbecue grills, the southeast pavilion has 12 tables, and the northeast and southwest pavilions have 8 tables each. Every pavilion has electricity, a water spigot, lighting and trash cans. The park also has restrooms, two playgrounds with swings, drinking fountains and a large grass area. Lehi notes that reservations cover the pavilions only, and all other amenities stay open to the public.

Wines Park is also the launching point for the Lehi Round-Up parades, according to the historical society. There is no splash pad here; Lehi's parks directory lists its splash pads at Lehi Family Park and Ivory Ridge Park.
