White Dome Nature Preserve

White Dome Nature Preserve protects one of the last remaining habitats for the dwarf bear poppy, a rare desert flowering plant threatened by extinction due to habitat loss and invasive species. The preserve offers a walking trail through the natural landscape where visitors can observe this endangered species in its native environment. Shade and facilities are not available, so come prepared with water and sun protection for exposed desert conditions.
