Ferrell Park

Ferrell Park is a small South Ogden city park on the east side of 1425 East, between 5550 South and 5600 South, just west of the businesses along Harrison Boulevard. Map apps often spell the name Farrell, but South Ogden's parks page and the state's local parks inventory both use Ferrell. That inventory, kept by the Utah Geospatial Resource Center, classifies it as a mini park of 0.89 acres.

South Ogden's parks page notes that the city does not take pavilion reservations for Ferrell Park, so it is not a spot to book for a party. The city does not publish an amenity list for the park, and a playground or restrooms could not be confirmed, so it is best thought of as a quiet neighborhood green space. OpenStreetMap shows a private community pool, operated by Ivory Homes, directly across 1425 East; the pool is not part of the park.

Families looking for more to do can try other South Ogden parks. According to the city, Friendship Park has a large pavilion with 30 tables, restrooms, playgrounds with swings, a paved walking path and sports fields, and Meadows Park at 5774 South 1900 East has playgrounds and picnic areas, with a first phase of upgrades (a new parking area and restroom building) in design as of September 2026.
