The dense tree cover creates a shaded, tucked-away atmosphere that works well for picnics or letting dogs explore. Parking can be tight since the park sits between apartment complexes, so plan to park on the street. The pavilion sometimes has graffiti but provides a decent spot to sit out of the sun.
